The Hotel de la Reconquista resides inside the former 18th century Hospital of the Principality of Asturias and is located in the centre of the city of Oviedo's residential and business neighbourhood. Inaugurated in 1973, it has been used to hold the most important events in the region.
Their royal highnesses the Prince of Asturias, the King and Queen of Spain are guests of honour at the hotel every year in October and also attract numerous personalities from the worlds of science, letters, arts and politics.
